At 8:22 Saturday morning, police received a report of a theft of gas from the Circle K on Water Street.
The suspect male was driving a red four door late 1990s or early 2000 Buick.
Police will be posting surveillance video related to the case on the Summerside Police Services website.
Police say there have been a number of these thefts over the past year and that they have been successful in identifying the suspects and charging those responsible.
Shortly after 4 p.m., police charged a 23-year-old Summerside man with failing to comply with a probation order. The man allegedly entered Sobeys on Granville Street while bound by an order to stay away from the store.
He will be appearing in provincial court at a later date.
At 6:38 p.m., police charged a 28-year-old Summerside woman with impaired driving and responding to a report of a vehicle off the road at the corner of Summer and Beaver streets. The accused will appear in court at a later date.
Later Saturday, at 10:40 p.m., police were called to the scene of a two-vehicle collision on Jillian Street. There were no injuries reported.
At 2:42 p.m., police received a report of damage to a vehicle from a city resident.
The woman had parked her car on MacKenzie Drive and went for a walk on the boardwalk only to return to a window smashed out of her vehicle and her multi- coloured canvass Coach purse stolen.
Police are reminding the public to lock all valuables in the truck of their vehicle or to leave valuables at home.
At 8:33 p.m. Sunday, the China Star Restaurant on Water Street contacted police to report that an iPad had been stolen from the restaurant.
A male allegedly entered the restaurant, placed an order and when the employee left for what police say was seconds and returned the iPad was gone.
The employee exited the restaurant she saw the male running west on Water Street and then north on Central Street.
The male was described as being in his early 20s, with short blond hair, approximately five feet six inches tall and was wearing a blue sweater.
The iPad was gray in colour and was in a purple case. The letters XT Feng was engraved on the back.
