Shadow cabinet announced

Opposition House Leader , Palmer Road

Provincial Opposition Leader Steven Myers announced his shadow cabinet this morning.

Local MLA Hal Perry (Tignish –Palmer Road) is now Opposition House Leader, as well as critic for health and wellness, agriculture and forestry and Acadian and Francophone Affairs.

Myers will take critic duties for the Premier’s Office, Intergovernmental Affairs, Innovation and Advanced Learning and Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal.

James Aylward will critique Finance, Energy and Municipal Affairs as well as Tourism and Culture. He will also be the opposition whip.

Olive Crane will be critic for Education and early Childhood Development, Community Services and Seniors, Justice, Aboriginal Affairs and the Status of Women.

Colin LaVie is now critic for Environment and Labour, Fisheries and Aquaculture and Rural Development and Workers Compensation Board.
