BLOOMFIELD -- No one was injured in a two-vehicle collision on Highway 2 in Bloomfield late Sunday morning.

Cst Jamie Jefferies from West Prince RCMP said an SUV was stopped on Highway 2 waiting for oncoming vehicles to go by so that it could make a left-hand turn onto the Gard Road when it was struck from behind. He said loose snow contributed to the collision as, just before the collision a westbound tractor trailer went by, blowing snow across the highway and temporarily obscuring the SUV from an eastbound Nissan Sentra.

By the time visibility cleared it was too late for the driver of the Sentra to avoid collision and it rear-ended the SUV. Damage to the two vehicles was in excess of $2,000.

    TOO FAST FOR CONDITIONS

Appears the collision happen because the second vehicle was travelling too fast for conditions, however, blame it on weather if you wish. No one here takes responsibility for anything anyways.
