French school board announces new superintendent

ABRAM-VILLAGE – P.E.I's French Language School Board announced today the appointment of Anne Bernard-Bourgeois to the position of superintendent as of April 8, 2013.

Bernard-Bourgeois, originally from Prince Edward Island, completed her education at Laval University in Quebec and obtained her Masters at the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton. She has extensive experience in the field of education and held various teaching and administrative positions in New Brunswick as well as in Prince Edward Island.

In a release issued Thursday morning, the board said 'Bernard-Bourgeois is first and foremost an educator, with significant experience in administration, management and professional development.'
