Youth arrested for uttering death threats

SUMMERSIDE - Summerside police were called to a disturbance last evening shortly after 10 p.m. at a Slemon Park residence.

Police said a 16-year-old was arrested and charged with uttering death threats. The residence also received some minor damage. The youth will be appearing in Youth Court at a later date. 

Police also responded to a two-vehicle collision Monday on Greenwood Drive at 3:30 p.m.

A-19-year-having old Miscouche man was charged with having no driver's license and failing to produce vehicle insurance. 

Police responded to a two-vehicle collision at the corner of Roy Boates Avenue and Frank Mellish Avenue late Monday afternoon. There was no injuries reported. 

Police also investigated a report received last evening at 7 p.m. of a vehicle backing into a light standard at the corner of Granville Street. and Beaton Avenue. There was considerable damage to the vehicle.
