SUMMERSIDE – Police are investigating following a tire slashing incident Thursday in the city.

Summerside Police Services received a complaint from a resident that two of her tires were slashed yesterday afternoon. A Grey 2000 Honda Accord was parked in the parking lot at the East Prince Youth Development Center, 223 Water St., Summerside.

The incident occurred between 1 and 3:30 p.m. If anyone was in the area and may have seen anything please contact Summerside Police Services or Crime Stoppers. The parking lot is located on the First Street side of the building.

It was otherwise a very quiet night for Summerside Police Services. There were few people on the streets with the extreme cold temperatures.

Funny, when I had my tires slashed while parked on Spring (next to the park where there are obvious drug deals going on) I went directly to the police and they shrugged their shoulders and said "What are you gonna do, kids will be kids" !!!

Does anyone check grammar and spelling before these articles are posted?
