On Wednesday, members of the Prince District JFO Drug Unit stopped a vehicle in Kensington and arrested Thane Douglas Simmons for possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking.
Police seized 10 grams of cocaine and a cellphone.
Simmons was brought before a justice of the peace and released.
He will be back in Summerside provincial court on March 14 to answer to the trafficking charge.
