First Prince County baby of 2013 arrives

A yawning Koby Ballum was Prince County’s first baby for 2013. He is the son of Stacey Enman and Adam Ballum of Tyne Valley.

SUMMERSIDE – Koby Ballum, Prince County’s first baby for 2013, arrived a 1:26 a.m. on Jan. 1 at Prince County Hospital weighing in at 8 pounds 7 ounces.

The proud parents are Stacey Enman and Adam Ballum of Tyne Valley. Koby was not the first Islander born in 2013 however. That distinction went to Cadence Lynn Mayhew who arrived at 12:04 a.m. Tuesday, just four minutes into the new year. This first child of Terry Mayhew and Genna Gallant was born at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Charlottetown.
