The RCMP all ready stated alcohol and speed are factors. Obviously the point is not getting out to our young people that driving impaired kills. We can preach this in schools but parents need to set the example too. Make a contract with your children that they can call you no matter what time of night and get a drive home no questions asked. SADD need to be more visible in the schools.RCMP has their hands full, especially in the west end of the island. Our judicial system needs to pass a no tolerance sentence every time an impaired driver is in the court.
