Krista Dawn Woods, 38, of Summerside, was not present to enter a plea last week in provincial court. Her attorney informed the court she’d been hospitalized one day prior to the appearance date.

The matter was adjourned until Jan. 3, 2013.

The information alleges the incident involved Canadian currency, the property of Michael Gaudet and AOK Fast Cash, which was stolen between Jan. 1 and Oct. 29, 2012.

Summerside Police Services did not wish to elaborate on the alleged details of the case since the matter is still before the court. It’s not clear whether the charges relate directly to a theft from the bank where the accused worked.
