Kendall Paugh of Summerside, left, and Breannah Gaudet of Saint Nicholas were selling their homemade, wooden Acadian flags at the Acadian Festival and Agriculture Exhibition in Abram-Village on Sunday.

Organizers were worried about Tropical Storm Earl disrupting activities at the festival but they say the storm did not effect their event. A volunteer said Abram-Village did not receive the wind or rain that was expected on Saturday.

The parade will begin at 1 p.m., leaving from the Evangeline school.
