P.E.I. will not get another winter storm on Friday, Environment Canada says.

The national weather office previously anticipated a winter storm for Thursday and Friday.
Environment Canada had issued a special statement warning of significant snow, wind and blowing snow for late Thursday and Friday.
According to the weather office on Tuesday, the system should pass south of the Maritimes on Friday. The website says there's a mix of sun and cloud with 40 per cent chance of flurries on Wednesday and Thursday.
On Friday, the forecast is flurries and Saturday looks like sunshine.
