COLEMAN - As bridge deck replacement work continues, the Coleman Corner Bridge on Route 2 in Coleman will be closed to all traffic until further notice.
While the closure is in effect, traffic on the affected section of Route 2 will be detoured. It is as follows: Westbound traffic will turn right on Route 12, Cascumpec Road, then left on to Route 142, Kelly Road, then right back on to Route 2. Eastbound traffic will take the same detour in the opposite direction. Route 137, Trout River Road, will remain open to light traffic heading to local destinations.
The detour is expected to be in place for three days while crews pour the concrete for the new bridge deck. Once that phase of the project is complete, traffic will be reduced to one lane for approximately one week to allow the concrete to cure.
