There are plenty of events tonight and tomorrow to ring in the new year in Prince County.
Here’s a list of some of the activities:
City of Summerside – New Year’s Eve celebration at Credit Union Place 6-9 p.m. The night includes; wagon rides on racetrack, live band and in the arena, skating, swimming, cookies and hot chocolate and bowling. There will also be hourly Go P.E.I. draws for T-shirts and a Western Capitals mascot naming ceremony.
Summerside Mayor’s Levee at city hall 1:30- 3 p.m.
Summerside Legion – New Year’s Eve celebration 8 p.m.
New Year’s Levee 1-4 p.m.
AFAC 200 Wing –New Year’s levee 4-6 p.m.
Summerside Raceway – New Year’s Eve celebration, buffet 6 p.m.
Silver Fox Curling and Yacht Club – New Year’s Eve celebration and buffet. New Year’s Levee 12:30-2 p.m. with free dance to follow.
Causeway Bay New Year’s Eve celebration and buffet.
Loyalist Country Inn – New Years Day brunch 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Lotus Garden in Kensington New Years Eve and New Year’s Day buffet 4-9p.m.
Wellington Legion – New Year’s Eve entertainment in the lounge 9:30 p.m., free admission. New Year’s Day Levee 1-5 p.m.
O’Leary Legion – New Year’s Eve dance from 10 p.m.-1 a.m.
New Year’s day Levee at 6 p.m.
Town of Kensington – New Year’s Day Levee at the town hall, noon-1:30 p.m.
Kensington Club – New Year’s Eve celebration (regular hours)
New Year’s Day levee doors open at 11 a.m. Admission is a non-perishable food item or donation to Kensington and surrounding area food bank.
Miscouche Legion – New Year’s Day levee 1 p.m. with entertainment
Ellerslie Legion – New Year’s Eve dance 9-2 p.m.
News Year’s Day Levee 1-8 p.m. with entertainment.
Tignish Legion – New Year’s Eve dance 10-2 p.m.
New Year’s Day breakfast with Egmont MP Gail Shea 9-11a.m., New Year’s Day Levee 1-4 p.m. co-sponsored by the Village of Tignish and the Tignish Legion.
Harmony House Theatre in Hunter River – New Year’s Eve bash with Vintage 4.0, 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.
