BURTON – The Lot 7 Ceilidh season continues with four super shows in September. They are held every Thursday night at St. Mark’s Hall in Burton, Route 14, at 7:30 p.m.

The Sept. 4 show will feature Michael Myers and the popular Dwayne Doiron, who is making a return appearance in Lot 7 for this season. Also the dynamic Acadian fiddler, Stephen Perry will team up with Cecelia MacKinnon on the piano. The duo will provide their rich blend of music for dancers Norma Arsenault and Marie McLellan.
The Sept. 11 lineup brings back Big River for a second year with Nick Arsenault who is noted for his performances of Johnny Cash songs. Along with his band, his wife, Samantha, will treat the audience with her fiddle playing. Crystal Paynter will make a guest appearance.
Sept. 18 will see the pair of female entertainers, Louise Arsenault and Helene Bergeron, take the stage to do a show which the Lot 7 audience will see for the first time. They promise mix of music, dance and storytelling. They have both appeared at this venue many times but never as a duo with such a blend of fun and entertainment.
The Sept. 25 show will end the month of ceilidhs with a group called Not All There featuring two great musicians, Nathan Condon on fiddle, and Mike Johnston.
Tickets are now on sale for the special show by Fiddlers Sons with Eddie Quinn and friends set for Sunday, Oct. 19, at 7:30 p.m.
St. Mark’s Hall is wheelchair accessible and air-conditioned. Lunch is served during the ceilidhs. A door prize, 50/50 draw and a small gift for the person who travelled the farthest are also part of the weekly evening events.
