Boyde Beck, curator of history with the P.E.I. Museum, will be back at Eptek Centre in Summerside for another Island history presentation.

Boyde Beck, right, curator of history with the P.E.I. Museum, is pondering a question from Clayton and Yvonne Smith following Beck's shipbuilding presentation at Eptek Centre. Beck will be back at Eptek for the last presentation in the August Speakers Series tobe held Thursday, Aug. 28, at 10 a.m.

He recently gave a shipbuilding presentation at Eptek Centre and will return for the last presentation in the August Speakers Series to be held Thursday, Aug. 28, at 10 a.m. in the gallery at Eptek Centre on the Summerside waterfront.

This last session will be presented by Dr. Ed MacDonald and Beck. Their discussion of Island life in the 19th century will feature the land question and anecdotes of Rory Long Donald.

This summer series was supported by the PEI 2014 Fund.
