SOURIS — Peggy Clinton, Johnny Ross and Gary Chipman, hosts of the Sunday Night Hoedown Concert Series at the Souris Show Hall, will welcome Keelin Wedge of Alberton as special guest on Sunday.

Keelin Wedge

Wedge is a multi-instrumentalist and vocalist, and performs with several musical groups on P.E.I., such as Renengade and Harmony.

"Growing up in Western P.E.I., I know there is lots of talent up in that area to share with my friends and family in Souris," said Clinton. "Keelin is a great example of a multi-talented musician — she's a great vocalist, fiddler, step dancer and musician in general — a special treat for the Sunday hoedown.”

"If you haven't had the opportunity to come out and take in a show at the Souris Show Hall, please put this on your summer to-do list,” added Chipman. "The hall has wonderful acoustics and nice soft seats, the show is lively and what a marvelous water view on the drive up. I can't say enough about my experience in Souris so far this summer."

"We've got a jam packed show filled with great music and lots of antics as well,” noted Ross. "Peggy has me doing more crazy things on stage than usual and it's great to see so many repeat visitors to the show.”

The show starts at 7:30 p.m. Rebeccah Lambie will be the guest step dancer.

There will also be a 50/50 draw in support of the Souris Show Hall. Advance tickets are available at www.sourisshowhall.ca, at the Evergreen Café or by email at sourislive@gmail.com.
