KENSINGTON – The Long River Players are back at the Murray Centre for their 11th season of ceilidhs in Kensington. Ceilidhs are open to the public and are an all-ages event.

The Long River Players are Peter Blanding, Gayle Murphy, Cindy Blanding, Gary Arsenault and Jaimie Wood. They are leading the Kensington Ceilidhs that got underway this week and are continuing every Monday evening until Sept. 22 at the Murray Centre.

The evenings will feature the sounds of fiddles, whistle, mandolin, guitar and banjo, along with vocal harmonies. Celtic, Maritime and roots-traditional vocal and instrumental music will be accompanied by lively step-dancing.

The ceilidhs run every Monday evening until Sept. 22 at 7:30 p.m. at the Murray Centre on School St., Kensington.

Admission is $10 for adults and $4 for children. Refreshments are available and the centre is wheelchair accessible.
