See ‘Music in Motion’ at Sunday night ceilidhs

CHARLOTTETOWN – Sunday night ceilidhs are back, but this year at a new address. The Music in Motion ceilidhs will be presented at the Jack Blanchard Family Centre at 7 Pond St., Charlottetown.

Entertainers for the June 22 ceilidh are Tim Archer, Dylan Ferguson, The Rectrofrets (Hazel St. Amand and six others), Erma Campbell, Judee Patterson, Millie MacDonald, Bailey Smith, Lou Doiron, Dianne Adams, Joyce Arsenault, and Buddy Longaphie. The Music in Motion house band The Roadmaster, consisting of Ivor Price, Wayne Diamond, and Dave Moore, will also perform.

The evening, which gets underway at 7 p.m., also includes door prizes, a 50/50 draw and refreshments. 

The centre is wheelchair accessible, and the doors will be opened at 6 p.m.

Proceeds from the event will be shared between the Charlottetown Food Bank and the Salvation Army.
