MONT-CARMEL - A Variety Show, featuring approximately 30 local artists, will be held on Sunday, June 1, at 7 p.m. at the Mont-Carmel Parish Hall.
"Our co-operative wants to organize this show to help Notre-Dame-du-Mont-Carmel Parish, which had major expenses during the last year," explained Edmond Gallant, president of the Co-opérative de développement culturel et patrimonial de Mont-Carmel.
"In May 2013, we raised $2,000 at this show. We hope that many people will attend this year's show so that we can collect another good sum of money for the parish."
Following is a list of the artists who have indicated that they will be performing: Allan and Claudette Gallant, Clarence Gallant, Peter Arsenault and Hélène Bergeron, Mona and Albert Arsenault, Zakk Cormier and Trevor Profitt, Alex, Jacques and Shane Arsenault, the Mont-Carmel Senior Citizens' Choir, Les Steppeuses, Les Étoiles de l'Acadie, Marcel Richard, Jacinthe Laforest, Gary Gallant, Austin Poirier and Jean-Eudes Gallant.
