2014 K.R.H.S. PROM
The 2014 K.R.H.S. Prom will be held on Sat., May 24 from 8-11 p.m. Music will be by Derek Arsenault. All grads and their escorts are asked to be at the school by 8:10 and meet in the lower corridor to line up for their walk-in which will begin promptly at 8:30 p.m.
K.R.H.S. ATHLETIC AWARDS
Tuesday, June 3, starting at 5 p.m. The meal will be potluck and all athletes are asked to bring something. Students are reminded the dress for the evening is semi-formal. All athletes and parents are encouraged to attend. Tickets can be purchased from Mr. Ranahan for $2. Tickets will not be sold at the door. There is no cost for family members. Awards will be presented to all graduating athletes and individual awards for each major sport.
iNTERFAITH SERVICE and GRAD SUPPER
The Grad Supper will be held on Thurs., June 5 at 7 p.m. at the Kinkora Kanata Club. The Grad Supper will immediately follow the InterFaith Service which begins at 6 p.m. at K.R.H.S. It is important that grads, parents and staff purchase their meal tickets during this time so we are able to finalize meal numbers. The cost of the meal is $17 per person. The Grade 11 students will help serve the meal and do some clean up.
2014 K.R.H.S. GRADUATION
The 52nd annual commencement exercises of Kinkora Regional High School will take place on Fri., June 20, at 7 p.m. Student Council President Hillary MacLeod will deliver the salutation while Graduate Michael Lawless will deliver the valedictory address.
K.R.H.S. PRIZE FUND
Individuals, businesses or community groups wishing to donate to the Kinkora Regional High School Prize Fund may do so prior to June 7 in order to be acknowledged in the graduation program. Please contact Lesley or Tracy at 887-2424. Cheques may be made payable to the Western School Board Educational Trust. Tax receipts will be issued.

RELAY FOR LIFE
Students and staff from K.R.H.S. will be participating in the Kensington Relay for Life on June 7. Participants will be collecting pledges for this cause (Canadian Cancer Society).

Reserve May 27 at 6:30 p.m. for the Annual K.R.H.S. Coffee House. Look forward to some excellent entertainment by talented K.R.H.S. students & staff.
ACTIVE CITIZENSHIP PROJECT
The Geography 421 class will be selling jumbo freezies at afternoon break on Day 2 only during the month of May. This is part of the class's Active Citizenship Project, where they are raising money for the Kinkora Habitat for Humanity build.
