Rubber Boot Revue happening Friday at Atlantic Veterinary College

CHARLOTTETOWN - The Atlantic Veterinary College in Charlottetown will be hosting the first “Rubber Boot Revue”, Friday, April 11, at 7 p.m.

Fiddlers' Sons and Courtney Hogan will kick off the Benevolent Irish Society's winter concert series "Ceol Agus Caidre" Friday, Jan. 17, at 8 p.m. at the BIS Hall at 582 North River Road in Charlottetown.

This new event will feature Island entertainers, a dog fashion show and an auction.

Wade Lynch, will be the host of the evening. He will be introducing the AVC’s own, The Vagal Tones.

Fiddlers Sons will also perform, with Eddy Quinn on lead vocals, John B. Webster on guitar, Garth Matthews on bass, and AVC’s own Courtney Hogan on fiddle.

After the entertainment, dogs will be decked out in costumes to vie for the title of “Top Dog” in the AVC’s Top Dog Fashion Show. This will be followed by an auction.

Organizers are hoping to make this Rubber Boot Revue an annual event.


Tickets are $10. Doors open at 7 p.m. for viewing of the silent auction items, with the entertainment to start at 7:30 p.m. For more information or to reserve a ticket, call (902) 566-0589.
