As part of the 2014 celebrations, go! PEI has announced the launch of the 2014 go! PEI Club. Islanders have the opportunity to win weekly and bi-monthly prizes by tracking their physical activity minutes privately online and participating in challenges.

Our goal for the go! PEI Club is to engage 20,140 Islanders in physical activity. We set the bar high this year and each day we are more excited to see the number of Islanders participating in the club rising.
It is amazing to see so many Islanders working towards being healthy and making positive changes to their lifestyles.
The club’s interactive webpage allows Islanders to track their own physical activity minutes and also promotes numerous healthy living challenges throughout the year. The first challenge is the 2014 themed Snow Sculpture Challenge, which runs until the end of March.
Each week go! PEI will draw from the go! PEI Club members for a chance to win prizes from Paderno, Golf PEI, Olde MacKenzie Farm, Co-op Groceries, PEI National Park, and Source for Sports. There will also be winners from each of the bi-monthly challenges being held in 2014.
The go! PEI Club allows all Islanders to participate in physical activity no matter what their current levels are.
We want to see Islanders reaching their own goals. One participant’s goal could be to work towards 10 minutes of walking each day and another could be to increase their running distance. That’s the great thing about the go! PEI Club, no one is left out and we can all work as a team to encourage each other to reach our goals at our own pace. There is no better way to celebrate 2014 than feeling strong and healthy.
The 2014 go! PEI Club also gives Islanders the chance step up to the plate and become Champions in their communities. Champions are those who encourage others to get active by leading a group of people towards healthy living. Champions who sign up will be awarded with a Champion Package that includes a go! PEI sport bag, reflective walking vest and more.
go!PEI is committed to helping all Islanders become healthier by adding physical activity and healthy eating into their lifestyle. Providing individuals with free materials, programs, and support helps educate and motivate Islanders to make the change to a healthy lifestyle and stick to it.
