CHARLOTTETOWN – On Saturday, Feb. 1, Fr. Keith Kennific will be offering a day of reflection on the Psalms for Christian men and women.

Fr. Keith Kennific

This reflection day will be held at the Martha Spirituality Centre at SDU Place, 45 Great George Street, Charlottetown. It will begin at 10 a.m. and conclude at 3 p.m.

Kennific describes his theme in the following way: “The psalms are ancient prayer-poems composed by ordinary people who caught glimpses of God in the ups and downs of their lives. Three thousand years later they continue to touch human hearts with the beauty, honesty and relevance of their words.”

Anyone wishing to discover more about the psalms can register by calling 367-3103 or email srgemma@eastlink.ca. Cost is $30, payable at the door. Guests are asked to use the back entrance.

Participants are asked to take a brown bag lunch and refreshments will be provided.

Fr. Kennific is the pastor at St. Pius X Church in Charlottetown and serves on a number of Diocesan committees.
