TYNE VALLEY – The West Prince Christian Council’s closing service in its Week of Prayer for Christian Unity will be held Sunday, Jan. 26, 7 p.m., in the Tyne Valley Presbyterian Church.

The Week of Prayer for Christian Unity is a worldwide Christian celebration and each year the service is developed by a different Christian community. In 2013 the service was developed by a team of the Student Christian Movement of India. This year, it is Canada's turn for just the third time in 100 years. The service has been developed by The Canadian Council of Churches, with the Canadian Regional Ecumenical Centres, the Prairie Centre for Ecumenism, and the Canadian Centre for Ecumenism taking the lead in developing the material to be used around the world this year.

Everyone is invited to be part of this worldwide celebration.
