CHARLOTTETOWN — Cancelled Sunday due to inclement weather, the Confederation Centre Youth Chorus’ “Sing Noel” concert is set for tonight.

"Sing Noel," which was cancelled Sunday due to weather, goes tonight at the Confederation Centre of the Arts' Homburg Theatre.

The concert, an evening of classic Christmas carols performed in the Homburg Theatre, starts at 7:30 p.m. at the Confederation Centre of the Arts.

The large youth choir will be joined by Joey Kitson and host Wade Lynch.

The Youth Chorus is led by Donald Fraser, musical director at Confederation Centre of the Arts.

“Young voices, great music, and Christmas. What could be better than that?” said Fraser.  “The beauty and purity of these blended voices in three and four parts cannot be equaled".”

Selections consist of both contemporary and classic Christmas carols, including “Welcome Yule,” “O Come All Ye Faithful,” “In Bethlehem,” “Star Carol,” “Angel Tidings” and “O Holy Night”
