CHARLOTTETOWN – On Thursday, Dec. 19, some of P.E.I.'s greatest artists will be claiming the stage at the Guild, for the ninth annual Food and Warmth Show. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for silent auction and food service, and entertainment will begin at 7 p.m. and continue until midnight.

Since 2005, the Food and Warmth Show has been a festive fundraiser, which has succeeded in helping to relieve Island families in need during the holiday season. All proceeds go to the Upper Room and Islanders of all ages are welcome.

This year's lineup will feature North Lakes, Racoon Bandit, Dennis Ellsworth, the Blanchard Sisters, Teem, English Words, Wildcat, Whale Skin, Jamie MacSwain, Dylan Menzie, Zack Squires, Katie McGarry, and Richard Wood with Gordon Belsher. Food service will be courtesy of Robert Pendergast and his meat or vegan burritos.

Tickets are $15, or $12 with a warm clothing or non-perishable food donation, and can be purchased online through the Guild, or at the door.
