The Island Red Hatters Society members are getting set for their Hoot. In keeping with this year’s theme of the Roaring ‘20s, (from left) Suzan Bouchard of Ottawa, Ont. is decked out as the gangster moll, the flapper is Riki Bagnell of North Bedeque, and the Mae West lookalike is Bev Cornish of Summerside. The 1920s Model T Ford was provided for the background by D. Alex MacDonald.
All members of the Red Hat Society and members of the Crown Jewels of Canada Society are invited to attend.
The organizers already have Red Hatters registered from P.E.I., Nova Soctia, New Brunswick, Ontario, and Maine, U.S.A.
The Hoot also has numerous vendors this year, including Austin’s Inspirations, Lou Lou’s from Charlottetown and Pazazz Red Hat store from Shelburne, Ont.
The theme this year is the “Roaring ‘20s”.
