"We Will Remember Them" is being staged Thursday night at the St. Mary's Church in Indian River.
No other period in time has brought more people together through song than the two World Wars. “We Will Remember Them” presents a stirring collection of songs that were inspired by the hopes and fears of this transformational era.
Miller and Jeffrey met as soloists for the Royal Nova Scotia International Tattoo in 2006. Since then, they have performed a successful tour of Nova Scotia with their show “Some Enchanted Evening,” as well as returning to appear in the Nova Scotia Tattoo in 2011.
Last fall, they decided to put together a show celebrating the songs of the war era as well as a tribute to veterans and service people — “We Will Remember Them” — which they toured throughout New Brunswick and Nova Scotia to great response. Both performers are classically-trained singers who have toured as concert soloists and are accomplished performers in opera, operetta and music theatre both nationally and internationally.
They will be joined by Dianne Roxborough-Brown on piano, Ernie Brown on trombone and Shawn Bostick on drums.
