HUNTER RIVER - The Saddle River String Band will perform a Christmas show at Harmony House Theatre on Saturday, Dec. 8, at 8 p.m.

Troy, Mike, James and Tom invite all out for a night of original and traditional blues, bluegrass, country and folk sounds as well as some classic Christmas tunes performed in the Saddle River style.

The four western P.E.I. musicians have a knack for recalling the sound, joy and spirit of a bygone age when figures like Hank Williams and Leadbelly roamed the earth.

An act unmatched on the Island for its sheer energy and distinctive sound, the boys are known for their intricate and energetic vocals and instrumental work on guitars, banjo, bass, mandolin, harmonica and kazoo, all played through a single, booming old-time microphone.

Tickets for the show are available through the venue website at www.harmonyhousetheatre.com or by calling 964-2255.
