Coins, smokes and cigars seized in Kensington break-in

KENSINGTON--Approximately $1,000 in rolled coins and another $1,000 worth of cigarettes and cigars was reported stolen from a Kensington business on Easter weekend.

East Prince RCMP report two males broke into Sutton's Quik-Way Convenience Store in Kensington early Friday morning.

RCMP say the thieves gained entry by smashing a front door.

Descriptions were released of the two suspects.

One is described as about six feet tall, average build, wearing black pants, a black hoodie and a green camoflage pattern jacket.

The second suspect is five foot, eight inches tall, average build, wearing blue jeans and a dark blue hoodie with white lettering on the front.

RCMP are seeking the public's help and anyone with any information is asked to call RCMP at 436-9300 or Crime Stoppers.
