The Colton Steele rink, from Dartmouth, NS., won the $500 first prize in the Maritime Junior Fall Cash Fling, played over the weekend at the Silver Fox Curling and Yacht Club. The Steele rink narrowly defeated the hometown favourite Sam Ramsay rink 8-6. Both teams were undefeated going into today's final. Ramsay's sister, Geri-Lynn Ramsay, had better luck on Erin Carmody rink, which claimed top prize in the girl's division.

Above, from left, Steele rink third Tony Weingartshofer looks on as team-mates Ben Creaser and Paul Weingartshofer sweep a rock into the house in the final's early ends.
