If I was Premier for a day, I would immediately do everything in my power to make the Board of Education reintroduce band fees for junior high and high school bands across the island. Ever since students stopped having to pay band fees, high school band programs (particularly my own) have been lacking in funding for necessary instrument repairs and band trips.
The reason that band fees would be my top priority as Premier of an entire province is simply because it effects my personal day-to-day life. I'm sure every other Island citizen would have some other seemingly miniscule but personally important wish to fulfill if they were the head politician.
Other more general actions that I'd like to oversee as Premier would be to have a set of lights at the corner by Jewell's country market, and also more roundabouts at some of the city's more complicated and bust intersections. I think we've all seen the success of the ones that have already been built, and it would be a wonderful advantage for all city drivers.
