The fireworks held in Souris on Canada day are absolutely gorgeous, and that’s where my family and I go to celebrate Canada Day. Going to Souris for the fireworks on Canada Day has been a routine for my family for as long as I can remember. I still look forward for the Canada Day fireworks every year.

A few hours before the sun sets we head into Souris to meet up with friends and family and watch the fireworks by the beach.  Once we get our spot we walk to a gas station and load up on junk food to snack on, and while we are waiting the fishing boats in the water always set off fireworks of their own, which is pretty cool to watch. By the time the sun is set and the fireworks begin everyone is pretty excited. The show lasts for approximately twenty minutes and when they’re all over it’s a race to get ahead of the traffic.
