Cows celebrated the 30th Anniversary of the IWK Telethon recently by donating 30 per cent of its ice cream sales from its P.E.I. and Halifax locations on June 1 to the IWK children's hospital.

CTV host, Heidi Petracek, receives the Cows cheque on behalf of the IWK Telethon, from Emma Martin, an employee of Cows.

"We were estimating our contribution to the IWK would be around $1,000 and were so thrilled to see this more than triple our expectations," said Yvonne Campbell, Cows public relations manager, shared.

Proceeds from this one-day fundraiser, Cones for Kids, allowed the P.E.I. based company to present the IWK telethon with a cheque for over $3,300.

The 30th anniversary proved to be the most successful for the IWK Telethon since its inception, with a record-breaking total of over $6.1 million raised.
