The event will feature guest speaker Tourism Minister Robert Henderson.

Henderson will give an overview of the plans for 2014 including the recently unveiled 2014 tourism strategy.

With more than 150 events are planned for the P.E.I. 2014 150th anniversary (sesquicentennial) of the 1864 Charlottetown Conference, it promises to be a big year on the Island for tourism. Chamber representatives believe there will be opportunities for businesses to capitalize on the excitement locally and the extra visitors this year’s events will attract.

The event is being sponsored by West Isle Enterprises.
