Filipe Ramos, an exchange student from Rio Claro, Brazil, is helping off-load another supply of freshly cut Island trees for the Summerside Y Service Club tree lot at Kool Breeze Farms. He is attending Three Oaks Senior High School in Summerside.

Filipe, who is being hosted by Stephen and Janet-Rose Hurst, is attending Three Oak High in his Grade 12 year. Filipe is quickly trying to adjust to the ever-declining temperatures and the snow.

The Summerside Y Service Club has been selling Christmas trees for over four decades and proceeds of the tree sales go towards helping Island families, with a focus on youth.

The tree lot is now open seven days a week at Kool Breeze Farms - Monday to Friday 4 to 7 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
