The building that housed a discount lumber business and Summerside's Frenchy’s store was demolished this week.
On Thursday, big machines were on site cleaning up the debris.
Frenchy’s, a used clothing store, closed its doors on June 27 after 11 years of operating in Summerside.
It is uncertain what will happen with the property. Calls to the city regarding the site were not returned by press time.
