A new website listing Prince Edward Island businesses for sale provides a one-stop location for potential buyers and sellers to connect with one another, said Minister of Innovation and Advanced Learning Allan Campbell.

“This is a wonderful opportunity for Island entrepreneurs and newcomers to the province to gain information about growing a business or investing in Prince Edward Island,” says Campbell. “This is also an incredible resource for anyone wishing to expand upon or make changes to their existing business operation.”

The site designed by Innovation PEI and the Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program will allow potential buyers or investors to gain valuable information about Island businesses.

The amount of available information depends solely on what the business owner wishes to disclose, with an option for anonymity should they choose. Information will be shared between registered users and will provide limited access to company information for unregistered users.

Businesses using representatives such as a realtor or a lawyer can have their representative act as the main contact.

PEIBusinessesForSale.com does not act as a business broker, and therefore no commission is collected upon the sale of a business. The fee for listing a business on this website is a one-time charge of $20.00.

Visit the new site at peibusinessesforsale.com.
