SUMMERSIDE -- Siarhei Drozd of Belarus has become the first player to score two hat tricks in the four-year history of the World Junior Hockey Challenge.

Drozd's third goal of Monday night's game against Canada East brought Belarus to within 7-5 with 11:10 remaining in the third period.

Drozd scored his first hat trick against Germany in a quarter-final game at last year's tournament in Camrose, Alta.
