I think it's great that PEI is on all the news channels. PEI is my home province and I am very proud to be an Islander. I hope Regis and Kelly promote the Island to the fullest and not concentrate only on their show . PEI has a lot to offer Lydia

Hey got to Charlottetown for the show at 7:30 am. Put on my PETA Seal outfit and was allowed to be a greeter for the 1st and 2nd show. Holy ! I met at least 3,000+ folks from all over the Martimes. We did not carry a sign or hand out information about the Seal Hunt but the majority of people knew why I was there. I posed for dozens of pictures and received such a warm response. You can't stop this grassroots effort to end the clubbing, hooking, dragging across the ice a baby seal only to be skinned for fur. FUR! Regis and Kelly had a blast today and people loved thier show. Take some time and let Gail know you saw the Peta seal at Regis and Kelly show and yes you want to end this waste of taxpayer's money for a dying industry. There are alternatives for the sealers and thier families. Thanks Charlottetown for your warm response. Thanks to the kids who gave me a high five ! Thanks for your hugs and your questions. Post your pics ! Thanks to those concerned about me overheating and provided water. Oh my it was hot in all that fur. And thank-you security for allowing me to provide a silent and peaceful protest representing Peta for five hours. Oh thank-you Charlottetown Police for allowing this Islander to express her view. I saw so much joy and happiness in so many people who were able to go to a unique event on PEI and have so much fun. Thank-you Regis and Kelly ! Brenda Brenda Armour

I thought it was great that tourisim PEI thought 'out of the box' to spend the tourism $ however that being said, I found the first show to be very scripted (compared to when Regis & Kelly are in NYC). Hopefully today's show is better and showcases more of the island other than Charlottetown.

Just finished watching the show I recorded because I wanted to show other people in Alberta the beauty of P.E.I... Excuse me but only showing the scenery behind Regis and Kelly, and then that short clip on a horse farm could have been filmed ANYWHERE. I will tape tommorows show as well, I hope they actually showcase the island instead of JUST Regis and Kelly this time..after all, isnt that why they are there ? isnt that why they got paid a million bucks ? Very very dissappointed. By the way Regis and Kelly, I dont blame you for this, I find you both to be very entertaining and Kelly is such a hottie " and your not so bad yourself Regis lol", your producers need to give their heads a shake though.
Executive producer of LIVE! With Regis and Kelly Michael Gelman speaks with media during a tour of the Charlottetown, P.E.I. location for the show. Four shows will be taped at Confederation Landing Park in P.E.I. over a period of two days, July 12 and Jul

Good morning Island Friends! It's Mark Hierlihy in Toronto. I think it's a great and fresh new approach for PEI to market itself with the likes of Regis and Kelly. If it helps - lots of people are talking about it here. It's great advertising for my home province of PEI. Enjoy your summer. Mark
