Chris Bradford, well-known British author of the Young Samurai series, will be visiting Charlottetown for an author visit unlike any other, says Minister of Tourism and Culture Robert Vessey.
"This is a wonderful opportunity for library patrons to participate in an interactive dynamic reading with the author,” said Vessey.
Bradford will be at the Confederation Centre Public Library on Saturday, Sept. 4, at 10:30 a.m. People may bring their own copies of his books to the author to sign, or they can purchase a book onsite.
“The Young Samurai event presents a unique opportunity to meet an author,” said chief librarian Trina O’Brien Leggott. “There will be an authentic samurai sword display and people will be able to watch videos of Bradford’s adventure in Japan. The Young Samurai event will be very exciting and interactive.”
